Privacy Policy

Tape Truth ("we") builds order-flow tools for TradingView. This policy explains what we collect through tapetruth.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• The email address and TradingView username you enter in the beta form, and the page language you used.
• The approximate country of your connection and the date and time of the request, provided by our hosting provider.
• Messages you send to [email protected].

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We do not ask for payment details on this site.

Why we use it

• To review your request and grant or remove access to our scripts on your TradingView account.
• To contact you about the beta, product updates and launch pricing. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To protect the form against spam and abuse.

Legal basis

We process your data based on the consent you give when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who processes it

We use Cloudflare to host this site, run the form, route email and filter bots (Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical data about your browser to tell humans from bots). Requests are delivered to and stored in our Google (Gmail) account. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. These providers may store data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under their own data-protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep beta requests while the beta and our product are active, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop receiving emails. You can also ask for a copy of your data in a common format, and you have the right to file a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We reply within 30 days.

This site is not intended for people under 18.

Terms of Use

Free courtesy access

At this time Tape Truth does not charge any money. Access to our scripts during the beta is a free courtesy and we do not accept payments of any kind. Our intention is to offer our scripts in the future through the TradingView Marketplace. Tape Truth is not yet authorized or approved by TradingView to sell scripts; if that changes, any paid offer will be announced on this site and will follow TradingView's own terms.

Software, not advice

Tape Truth provides software for market analysis. Nothing on this site, in our scripts or in our publications is financial, investment or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Trading futures, options and stocks involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Past market behavior does not guarantee future results.

Access to our scripts

• Access is personal to the TradingView account we invite. Do not share, resell or transfer it.
• Beta access is free of charge, may change and may be removed at any time.
• Our scripts require a TradingView plan and market data subscriptions that you obtain and pay for directly with TradingView and the exchanges.
• Our scripts are closed source. Do not attempt to copy, reverse engineer or republish them.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Market data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tape Truth is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the software or this site.

Tape Truth and Flow Truth are our brand names. TradingView is a trademark of TradingView, Inc.; Tape Truth is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by TradingView.

Base legal

Tratamos tus datos con base en el consentimiento que das al enviar el formulario y en nuestro interés legítimo en proteger el formulario frente a abusos. Puedes retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento.

Quién los trata

Usamos Cloudflare para alojar la web, hacer funcionar el formulario, enrutar el correo y filtrar bots (Cloudflare Turnstile, que puede tratar datos técnicos de tu navegador para distinguir personas de bots). Las solicitudes se entregan y guardan en nuestra cuenta de Google (Gmail). No vendemos ni alquilamos tus datos a nadie. Estos proveedores pueden guardar datos en servidores fuera de tu país, incluido Estados Unidos, con sus propias garantías de protección de datos.

Cuánto tiempo los guardamos

Guardamos las solicitudes mientras la beta y el producto estén activos, o hasta que nos pidas borrarlas.

Tus opciones

Escribe a [email protected] para ver, corregir o borrar tus datos, o para dejar de recibir correos. También puedes pedir una copia de tus datos en un formato común, y tienes derecho a presentar una reclamación ante la autoridad de protección de datos de tu país. Respondemos en un plazo de 30 días.

En este momento Tape Truth no cobra ningún dinero. El acceso a nuestros scripts durante la beta es una cortesía gratuita y no aceptamos pagos de ningún tipo. Nuestra intención es ofrecer nuestros scripts en el futuro a través del Marketplace de TradingView. Tape Truth aún no está autorizado ni aprobado por TradingView para vender scripts; si eso cambia, cualquier oferta de pago se anunciará en esta web y seguirá las condiciones propias de TradingView.
